Your life is full.
You can still create.

NEW WORK. REAL PEOPLE. HUMAN AS HELL.

Make Your Art.

Live Your Life.

There's Room for Both.

Narrow Victory is a Chicago theatre company making new plays with people whose lives are already full. We bring ideas into the room, try things, and help them grow through readings, workshops, and collaboration.

You might be new to theatre, coming back after a break, or years into it. Bring your curiosity, your oddly specific skills, and the life you’ve lived. There’s room for all of it.

We want to make theatre that’s human as hell, from the stories we tell to the way we work together. That means making work we’re proud of, enjoying the people we’re making it with and leaving room for the rest of life.

Make new theatre.

Got one evening? That’s a good place to start. Our Chicago Development Nights usually run 2–3 hours, with roughly three weeks’ notice and a firm end time. There are currently no fees, and one reading doesn’t commit you to a bigger project.

Bring an idea, something unfinished, or the enthusiasm to try. We’re building this together.
